It automatically shuts off the water supply to your home in case of a leak.

If the 3-Series Water Leak Sensor detects water, it can trigger the whole-home water shut-off valve to disconnect the water supply. This protects your smart home against leaks and flood damage, even when you’re away from home or unaware that there’s a problem.

Ensure that A/C drain pans don’t overflow.

With optional remote leads, you can place the water leak sensor in areas where there is typical standing water. A/C drain pans contain some water under specific operating conditions, but with the 3-Series Water Sensor, you can be notified when the water reaches an unacceptable level.

Use The Water Sensor to Prevent flooded basements when sump pumps fail.

Many homes with a basement have water entry issues requiring automatic sump pumps to remove water. When these pumps fail, the rising water level can trigger notifications using the 3-Series Water Sensor.
