Alternative Contact Closure Inputs

Yes.  The Elegance inputs are all simple contact closures.  Usually these are made by our keypad buttons, but any contact closure can be used.  These can be relay outputs from security panels, door contacts, motion sensors, or anything that generates a dry contact closure.

You must not run voltage into a STAR input.  The input would not be recognized and the STAR could be damaged.
