How Do I Change the Baud Rates for the 3rd Party Ports in Elegance?

Solution I want to change the 3rd Party Serial port Baud Rate on the Elegance system.

If you have Firmware version 5.30 or greater:

You will need to be connected to the Elegance MCP using the Elegance Programming Software.  Once connected go to the SETTINGS screen.  You will see a box with Baud Rate Settings for RS232-2 and RS232-3.  These are for the 2 RS232 ports on the back of the Elegance MCP.  You can select Baud Rates from 300 to 38,400 for each port.

You must Reset the MCP for these Baud Rates to take effect.  You can either press the Reset button on the MCP or hit the RESET MCP button on the SETTINGS screen.

If you firmware previous to 5.30:

Use the Dipswitches on the back of the MCP to set the baud rates.

Dipswitch 3 controls the RS232-3 baud rate.  When Dipswitch 3 is ON, RS232-3 Baudrate is set to 9,600.  When Dipswitch 3 is OFF RS232-3 baud rate is set to 19,200.

Dipswitch 4 controls the RS232-2 baud rate.  When Dipswitch 4 is ON, RS232-2 Baudrate is set to 9,600.  When Dipswitch 4 is OFF RS232-2 baud rate is set to 19,200.

You must press the RESET button on the front of the MCP to make the Baud Rate changes take effect.
